Our friend suggested we spend a few days in Lucca, and I am glad we took the suggestion. It’s a beautiful walled city with many lovely churches and towers. It’s a beautiful site to climb up (at least) one of the towers and look over all the lovely red tiled roofs. Home of Puccini, every night a church or similar venue hosts an hour long concert with the music and songs from his operas. We were able to attend one of these events. It was lovely!
I am following your blog and living vicariously through its contents. Sounds like you’re having a fabulous time, and I’m so glad for you two who are such lovers of travel. You got me at Puccini💕I’m not looking for sympathy, but yesterday I had a root canal and today I’m preparing for the hurricane. What are we doing wrong here??? I don’t feel the need to start my own blog to post this kind of news. 😹Stay safe and be well. 😽
Hey Cat! Thanks for being one of my three or four followers! I hope you are recovering admirably from your root canal – ugh! Be safe in the coming storm. We are home now, at least ten pounds heavier. We don’t have our next trip planned yet, but you will read about it here!
